Auto-scheduling
Your calendar, with the work already on it.
Give each task a duration, a deadline and a priority. Pensova reads every calendar you subscribe to, finds the time you actually have, and books the work into it. When the week changes, the work moves.
How it decides
The rules, in the order they apply.
- 01
Fixed things first
Meetings, blocked time, holidays and anything on a calendar you count as busy are read from Google and treated as immovable.
- 02
Priority, then deadline
Urgent tasks are placed before high, high before medium, medium before low. Within a priority, the earliest deadline goes first. A deadline never lets a low-priority task jump an urgent one.
- 03
The earliest free time that fits
Each task takes the first gap inside your working hours that is long enough. A splittable task takes the first gap of at least thirty minutes and continues in the next.
- 04
Repeats, one occurrence at a time
A weekly task is placed fresh in each week it falls in, and confined to that week. It is not pinned to the same hour forever.
- 05
What cannot fit says so
A task with no duration, a deadline already passed, or no free time before its deadline is left unscheduled with the reason on its row. It is never silently dropped.

Unscheduled
Every calendar counts
Busy is busy, whichever calendar says so.
Pensova lists every calendar your Google account subscribes to and lets you choose which ones count as conflicts. The defaults are conservative.
- Shared calendars
- A colleague's calendar shared as free/busy only still blocks time. Pensova cannot see what the meeting is, and does not need to.
- Holidays
- A public-holiday calendar marks the whole day. Nothing is booked on it, which is why Monday in the week above is empty of work.
- Personal calendars
- Practice, date night, the dentist. If it is on a calendar that counts, the scheduler works around it exactly as it would a meeting.
It keeps happening
Replanned in the background, every quarter hour.
A job checks each connected calendar every 15 minutes. If the busy pattern has changed since it last looked, the week is replanned. If nothing changed, nothing happens, and nothing on your calendar is rewritten.
You stay in charge
Your edits in Google win.
Before every replan, Pensova reconciles with Google. A block you moved stays where you put it. A block you deleted is gone, and the task shows as unscheduled rather than pretending. Pensova only ever touches events it created.
The view
Day, three days, five, or the week.
Non-working days are hidden unless you work them. The first day of the week is yours to set. Today is tinted, with a line at the current time. Built for a desktop and usable on a phone.
- Working hours and days
- Monday to Friday, nine to five by default. Change either and the scheduler only places work inside them.
- Blocked time
- Protect a standing focus block or a recurring commitment. It is written to Google as a recurring event, and from then on Google owns it and the scheduler works around it.
- Microsoft 365 In development · Go-live Q1 2027
- Google Calendar only today. Microsoft 365 is planned behind the same calendar interface, so nothing above changes when it arrives.
