Connecting Google

Pensova asks Google for two things and nothing else:

calendar.readonly

To list the calendars you subscribe to and read when you are busy.

calendar.events

To create, move and delete the events it places. It only ever modifies events it created.

No Gmail, no contacts, no Drive. Google shows the full list before you approve it.

The “unverified app” screen

Google reviews every app that asks for calendar access, and Pensova’s review is under way. Until it is granted, Google shows a warning at sign-in. Choose Advanced, then Go to pensova.com. The app is limited to 100 users in total during this period.

If sign-in fails

• A Google Workspace account may be blocked by your organisation’s admin from authorising third-party apps. That is a policy on their side; a personal Google account works.
• If you revoked access earlier, sign in again and re-approve the permissions. The app will tell you when it cannot reach your calendar.

Disconnecting

Revoke Pensova in your Google account permissions. Access stops immediately. Events already on your calendar stay; they are yours. To delete the account and everything stored with it, see Disconnecting and deleting your data.
