Getting started

From sign-in to the first block on your calendar, in about five minutes.

Updated 8 September 2026

  1. Pick a plan. Both start with seven days free. Checkout runs on Stripe and takes a card; nothing is charged if you cancel before the trial ends.
  2. Sign in with Google. Approve the two Calendar permissions. Until Google finishes verifying the app, you will see an “unverified app” screen; choose Advanced, then continue. See Connecting Google.
  3. Set your working hours. Open Settings from the bottom of the sidebar. Monday to Friday, nine to five is the default; change the hours, the days, and the first day of the week to match how you work.
  4. Choose which calendars count. Every calendar you subscribe to is listed. Ones marked as conflicts block time; the rest are ignored.
  5. Add a task. Press Add task, or type it in plain words in the box at the top of the panel: “deck for the board by Thursday, about two hours”. Review the draft, then add it.
  6. Watch it land. The task is placed the moment it is saved, and a matching event appears on your Google Calendar. From here on it is kept in place by the background replan.

What to try next

  • Move one of Pensova’s events to a different time in Google Calendar. Reload the app: the block is where you put it.
  • Add a task that is longer than any free gap, tick “Can be split”, and see it become pieces.
  • On Pro, paste the notes from your last meeting into Meeting notes and review the drafts.
